Hiking Up Hill: Sunday post-Taxol Update

Oh my. This is not fun. I ache all over from the Taxol. I'm not nauseous and the reflux is under control, but the body aches. . .the Vicodin I took an hour ago isn't touching the aching.

Hoping and praying today was the worst of it.

About Our Blog

In the weeks after Sandy's cancer diagnosis, it became hard to get the latest information to all the people in our lives.

After discussing a few options, we decided to start a blog. So Sandy gathered up some of her old posts from the Sonlight Forums (a homeschool group she often abbreviates as SL), and we got started.

To protect the privacy of our children, Sandy created nicknames for the boys on the Sonlight forums: the older boy is Spiff (as in SpaceMan Spiff from the Calvin and Hobbes cartoons); the younger boy is Entropy Boy, because of his ability to introduce disorder into a well-ordered system. We're also protecting our friends' privacy by using their initials.

Thanks for visiting and sharing our joy and pain. Hopefully our writing can give back a little for all we've received from you.
